The Hawley Arms

Located just a minute’s walk from Camden Town tube station, The Hawley Arms is a must-visit for music fans: it’s decked out with rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia and used to be a favourite haunt of Amy Winehouse and the Libertines’ Pete Doherty.
The Enterprise
2 Haverstock Hill, NW3 2BL
If you’re heading to a gig at the Camden Roundhouse and looking for somewhere to pre-drink, we can’t recommend The Enterprise highly enough. It’s right opposite the historic venue and offers an decent – and reasonably priced – range of beers on tap.
The Black Heart
3 Greenland Place, NW1 0AP
One of Camden’s quirkiest pubs, The Black Heart is decked out with a huge neon crucifix and plays a steady stream of Bowie, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. Upstairs is a 150-capacity venue which plays host to gigs most nights of the week.
The Camden Eye
2 Kentish Town Rd, NW1 9NX
Sitting in the heart of Camden Town, this cosy pub offers superb wood-fired pizzas (at £10 a pop) and craft beers. On top of that, its big sports screens means it’s a great place to sit back and watch the Six Nations or Premier League.
The Good Mixer
30 Inverness Street, NW1 7HJ
Attracting a young, trendy crowd, The Good Mixer is dingy in the best possible way. Check out its rock ‘n’ roll karaoke nights, which take place on Wednesday once a month. Britpop icons Blur and Oasis used to drink here in the 90s.
